We’ve heard before that King Charles—when Prince of Wales—was inclined to favour inspecting the contents of That Urn and thus solve the mystery that has blackened King Richard III’s name since the 15th century. I’d like to think something might come of this latest rumour, but I won’t hold my breath. Every royal since Henry Tydder (Boo! Hiss!) has made sure this particular sleeping dog is left to lie,. To be honest, I don’t think any of our present royals are bold enough to actually press the button! Even though finding out the truth won’t make the slightest difference to their tenure of the Crown! They have nothing to lose.
