If you go to this link (https://tinyurl.com/4bv85ppr) you’ll find: “….If you like a good plot, a historical setting with plenty of twists and turns, betrayal, romance, and a surprise ending then Blood and White Roses is just the novel for you…..”

So writes  Natalie Key, Female First Book reviewer, about the new novel Blood and White Roses by Rebekah Fanning. “….a passionate medievalist living in Norfolk. She has spent over thirty years researching the life and times of Richard Duke of York 1411-1460 and his son King Richard III 1452-1485. Blood and White Roses is the second book in The Bethany Mortimer Series following Candles and White Roses….”

This is the author’s second book about Bethany Mortimer, the first being Candles and White Roses. See more here: https://www.lovereading.co.uk/book/9781916668836/isbn/Candles-and-White-Roses-by-Rebekah-Fanning.html

I cannot claim to have read either book, so this is just a heads-up to all those who enjoy historical novels set in 15th century England. My only query is whether or not Bethany is a name that goes that far back. I’m no expert, but to me it sounds more modern.

But I DO wish Bethany Mortimer well. May she sell like hot cakes!
