Under New Management – A New ‘Broom’?

Let me intrtoduce myself. I am Jo and I have contributed to the old Murrey and Blue blog on an irregular basis. When I found out that the site might disappear, I felt I had to do something, so I decided to save it. I knew SuperBlue in real life and I was sure he would want it to continue.

Thankfully, the Richard III Society has agreed to donate the cost of the first couple of years of the website, in Stephen’s memory.

I plan to continue the part educational and serious, part light-hearted posts of the previous site, though I probably won’t be able to achieve a post per day. I will aim for 2-4 posts per week and we’ll see how we go. At the moment I have a few ideas such as general mediaeval history, mediaeval customs, poems, book reviews, links to interesting sites, as well as, obviously anything concerning Richard III!

If you have any requests for other subjects or themes, please comment below and we’ll surely consider them. I have a small team at the moment, so if you would like to join us, again comment and you can be on the team. Posts to be written when you wish, no pressure, or you can just send me any submissions for me to post crediting you.

I hope you will be patient while I am getting accustomed to the new role!

Jo

  1. Thank you Jo, it’s a great thing you’re doing! I hope it can be a pleasure for you and not become burdensome – two or three times a week sounds just right to me. All power to your elbow as they say.
