A new BBC2 documentary series about medieval pilgrimages in North Wales….

I am a little late for the first episode of this new three-part documentary series about seven modern celebrities of all different faiths and beliefs undertaking pilgrims’ travels through various parts of North Wales. They will hike through ancient Welsh sites, including Flint Castle and St Winefride’s Holy Well, but the final programme appears to cover Portugal.

The first episode was on BBC2 at 9 pm on Friday, 29 March 2024, but the other subsequent episodes will be on the following Fridays, 5 and 12 April 2024.

I confess to not recognising the celebrities in question, but then many many moons ago I didn’t recognise my next-door neighbour, so it’s nothing new. My only excuse was that he came to the door when I had flu and a high temperature. Oh dear. I lived in a parallel universe back then, and I still do now, as my family and friends will confirm.🙄

  2. Oh! I love this! I have always wanted to visit Wales. I have been close, but not yet. And while I don’t know these celebrities, I love that they are from different faiths and continuing to seek wisdom from walking in other’s footsteps!
