Westminster Abbey (from the article linked below)

There are some monarchs’ last resting places that always come to mind with ease….especially Richard III at Leicester, of course. Then his usurper, Henry Tudor, in his palatial hymn to himself at Westminster Abbey. Edward IV at Windsor, Edward II (apparently) at Gloucester, John at Worcester at so on. Yes, I do know more than these, but I could never, in a million years, pinpoint the whole bunch!

Well, this site does just that. Of course, I’m not up on the subject sufficiently to know if they’ve made any mistakes. If they have—heaven forfend, of course—don’t blame the messenger!

One thing though. The article says that Richard’s stone coffin is on display at Leicester. It isn’t of course. His tombstone is. His lead-lined coffin lies deep below it, in peace and quiet.

Very interesting, although I probably know less than you!
Even so I picked up on a few errors, plus spelling mistakes (the first one in the headline!)
I realised as I read further that it’s obviously American, (Richard found under a parking lot) but that still doesn’t mean they should make silly mistakes.

  2. They have Edward V buried at Westminster as if it’s proven! 😦
