In in the course of my research, I needed to know what the weather was likely to be in spring in Tonnerre, France. So what do I do? Why, I Google search Tonnerre-springtime. Being an innocent, I clicked on the first link—the emag one. It contains nothing but “artistic” poses by a half-clad woman. If that’s your bag, go for it. I’m not the slightest bit interested in half-clad women! No more emag.com for me!
Anyway, the second link was a revelation of a different kind. Not quite the spring I had in mind either, but absolutely fascinating. A seemingly bottomless spring in the centre of Tonnerre?
