The only truly medieval house left in Mousehole….

This is only house left standing when Mousehole was burned by the Spaniards in 1595. It actually dates back to the 14th century. Maybe it doesn’t look much in the old photograph above, but its modern self is wonderful. I’m envious. All I need to raise is £750,000. Ahem….shouldn’t take long…..

It took me a while too as the usual link from my email to WordPress didn’t work.
I’ve seen this house, but only from the outside, on a visit to Mousehole a few years ago. It is beautiful, but I’m not sure about some of the interiors. It’s a tad too modern for my liking. The bedrooms and bathroom look lovely but they’re not in keeping with the age of the property, and I’m afraid that spoils it for me. If I had the money to buy this house (oh I wish!) I’d have to do something to change that. From the outside, and where it is, it’s absolutely glorious.
