  1. Considering that Queen Elizabeth was totally against Richard 111 being buried in Westminster abbey alongside his wife in the first place, I have no respect for her.

    1. It isn’t possible to identify Anne Neville’s remains without damaging several others.

    2. I think she also knows that she’s not the rightful Queen because of her ancestors who usurped the throne from Richard, the Tudors.

  3. Also, it was reported in some California media that there was something connected to the excavation permit that mandated that any re-burial would take place in Leicester.

  4. Queen Anne Neville died at Westminster on 16th March 1485 at the age of around 28, probably of tuberculosis. An eclipse on the day she died was interpreted by many to be an omen of Richard’s fall from heavenly grace. She was buried in Westminster Abbey, in an unmarked grave near the High Altar, next to the door to the Confessor’s Chapel. In 1960, a bronze tablet was erected on a wall near her grave by the Richard III Society. A brass plate and coat of arms, was erected in 1960 on a wall of the south ambulatory by the Richard III Society, it bears the inscription:-

ANNE NEVILL(E) 1456-1485 QUEEN OF ENGLAND YOUNGER DAUGHTER OF RICHARD EARL OF WARWICK CALLED THE KINGMAKER WIFE TO THE LAST PLANTAGENET KING RICHARD III.

“In person she was seemly, amiable and beauteous…And according to the interpretation of her name Anne full gracious” REQUIESCAT IN PACE.

The quote is taken from the Rous Roll in the British Library. – from the English Monarchs website

I didn’t learn anything any possible connection to James Bl(o)unt or to Elizabeth Blount, Henry VIII‘s mistress but the art expert was sixth cousin once removed to his employer. […]
