There are numerous castles in the Welsh Marches. I was going to say countless, but I’m sure someone will have counted to the very last motte. I’ve been wanting to attend this festival for at least 20 years and finally everything came together this year and I was able to take my family with me for an orgy of medieval shopping, weaponry, costumes and merchandising followed by the re-enactment of the Battle of Tewkesbury on part of the original site…
