From The Richard III Society: News of new event for A Taste of Loyalty, taking place at the King Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester on 22nd January at 5.00pm:

YOU ARE INVITED!

Richard III has been buried beneath myth for over five centuries.

A Taste of Loyalty seeks to exhume the man beneath the legend, beginning with his first battle at Barnet.

This event is not a screening, but an invitation inside the making of the film itself. Adapted from historian Matthew Lewis’s Loyalty, the evening explores the research, obsession, and creative risk involved in challenging a historical narrative long taken for granted.

Director and actor Thomas Dennis, the voice behind A Voice for Richard, joins Matthew Lewis in discussion, supported by behind-the-scenes footage and project talks. Together, they will examine why this story still matters, and why it demands to be told on screen.

For historians, filmmakers, and medieval lovers drawn to truth, loyalty, and legacy.
