Well, I think Dan Jones has now lost all credibility as a serious historian. Why? Because of the new “comedy” series Sex: A Bonkers History in which he stars with Amanda Holden. The trailer, which might as well be for a Carry On film, is forever popping up on my TV screen, and he is described as “hunky heartthrob historian Dan Jones”.
The series, which you can read about here https://tinyurl.com/4k8zv85x, is at present showing on the Blaze Channel. I fear I don’t know of any other channels that are/will be showing it.
Still, on the plus side it means his opinions won’t count much from now on.
