The cathedral commissioned the works as part of its ‘oral history’ of the remarkable story, which came to a head in 2015 when the former monarch’s remains were laid to rest….
“….The Last Plantagenet: Stories in Sound premiered as part of the city’s Light Up Leicester festival, which began on Wednesday and concluded on Saturday, March 16. The student compositions, some featuring recordings of Leicester Cathedral’s organ being played by director of music Dr Christopher Ouvry-Johns, were played through speakers positioned around Richard III’s tomb....”
