“….A sell-out audience sat spellbound as….the intricacies of dressing for battle were among the highlights when history buffs gathered for the Northern Dales Richard III Group study day….”
I fear we didn’t learn of this event—A cracking day (and knight) for historians – News – Teesdale Mercury—until it was over, but happily it was a great success and very well attended. If you read the article you will see the many events that audience enjoyed, and you will learn that once again Philippa Langley added her weight to the proceedings. She really has moved mountains as far as Richard III is concerned, and if he were still here I know she’d have long since been granted a title. And rightly so.
Let’s hope we hear of the next event before it happens!
