  1. Having gone through that terrible lot, I marvel anew that traditionalists point their silly fingers at Richard III. Even if he had committed the crimes of which he’s accused, he’d still be lilywhite compared with these ten horrors.

  2. Edward I Robbed and murdered the Jewish community, many of whose families had been here pre William the Conqueror or came from the Rouen area at the time of his conquest. Some went into the woodwork keeping their heads down. A few were forced into the House of Conversion in what is now Chancery Lane, london.
