    1. Quite. If you look at the small statues on the fron of Leicester Cathedral, Richard’s great-great-great-nephew Henry of Huntingdon is similarly clad.

    2. He probably didn’t wear facial hair either, it wasn’t fashionable at the time, and his portrait in the Rous Roll shows him without facial hair.
